Evotech Performance specialise in the design and manufacture of very high quality motorcycle aftermarket parts. Despite heavy investment in the development of a bespoke ecommerce website, performance and functionality were below expectations and the site was nowhere to be seen in the Google rankings.
R&D Eurotech undertook an initial analysis of the existing site and suggested that the best solution would be to design and implement a new site using well proven, off-the shelf Actinic ecommerce software, fully customised to provide the look and feel that they required and implementing rigorous Search Engine Optimisation techniques.
Work commenced on the new site on the 3rd January 2007 and by the end of the same month had gone live. Some 6 weeks later over 70% of their leading product offerings were showing on the first page of Google searches, many at the very top position despite stiff competition. Other products continue to climb.
Orders taken in the first 6 weeks of the new site trading easily exceeded those taken in the first year with their previous site.
R&D Eurotech continues to support Evotech Performance as they rapidly expand their product range. They are adding products daily and administrating the whole order process with great successes. We are delighted to also be developing a further site for their related business activities.
Having decided that our website really wasn’t doing the business we required, we invited R&D Eurotech to look at our options. Our experience has shown us that there are a lot of people out there claiming to do all sorts of things with e-commerce, but R&D Eurotech have proved to us that there are some out there that actually can do the job, on budget and on time, all as promised.
